Working on areas of mutual agreement, cooperating with others, and a focus to the future are all pivotal components of my Collaborative practice. My view on Family Law is that it is a very dynamic branch of law that requires a lawyer who will work with their clients in order to develop a strategy that best suits their situation. Court is not the only option for my clients, and I believe the Collaborative process is an invaluable tool in assisting clients reach their goals.
I obtained my law degree from the University of Windsor in 2011, and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2013. I have worked at legal aid clinics, not for profit organizations, and a national law firm. I currently work at Menzies Lawyers in Ottawa, and practice in the areas of Family Law and Civil Litigation.
Throughout my life, I have committed himself to volunteering and giving back to the community, including: teaching swimming to multi-disabled children, raising money for both a women’s shelter and cancer research, volunteering as a tutor for illiterate adults and at a day care in a developing country.
